Born in Italy, Giancarlo Balisciano has enjoyed photography for most of his life, and other different types of art as well, such as cooking, painting, ceramics making, and jewelry design and making. Due to his unpredictable lifestyle, he started to focus primarily on photography and precisely on landscapes, cityscapes, wildlife, and botanical photography. After opening his studio in Manila (Light of Sol Photography), Giancarlo started to focus on Portraiture, Family Portraits, Couples, and Boudoir photography. After two years, he moved to Dusseldorf Germany, and opened another photo studio (GB Fine Art Photography), working mostly in fine art photography with models, bodybuilders, and dancers. End of 2018 he moved to Florida, near Orlando and when he was almost ready to open his next studio with a gallery, COVID hit the US and he decided to give up the idea of the studio gallery. 

After moving to Wilton Manors (FL), he made the step to work more as a digital artist/photographer, presenting, and selling his art online and in local galleries. Giancarlo Balisciano sees beauty everywhere and his minimalistic style conveys beauty, strong emotions, and a sense of mystery.
